What is temporary employment anyway?
Temporary employment simply explained

You are employed by Baltic Jobs and are assigned to different client companies.

As a temporary employee, however, you do not work directly for us, but for one of our clients, with whom we deploy you for a certain period of time. Of course, we only "lend" you out with your consent and according to your abilities.

The terms temporary employment and staff leasing can be used synonymously and therefore all mean the same thing.

What distinguishes personnel placement from temporary employment?

In temporary employment, we are your employer as a personnel service provider and lend you to one of our client companies depending on the assignment.

How is payment regulated in temporary employment?

If you are hired, Baltic Jobs offers you remuneration above the average pay rate, taking into account the IGZ/DGB collective agreement. After six months, holiday pay and Christmas bonus become a fixed part of your remuneration. In addition, premiums are paid for work on public holidays as well as for shift and night work. In the event of holiday or illness, we will of course continue to pay your salary.

The issue of remuneration is of course very important. That's why we discuss every detail during the application process.

Is temporary employment suitable for me if I am actually looking for a permanent position?

In addition, temporary employees who prove themselves during their assignment in the client company are often taken over as permanent employees.
